Group Setup

The tournament features 12 groups of 5 players each. Players are grouped by categories such as:

  • Tiers 1-6 (Ranked by FanDuel Odds)
  • Amateurs
  • Past Masters Champions
  • First-Time Participants
  • International Players
  • Dark Horses
  • Young Guns (Under 30)

Making Your Picks

Select one player from each of the 12 groups. Your goal is to pick players who will make the cut and perform well throughout the tournament.

Survival Mechanics

After Round 2, at least 7 of your 12 selected groups must have a player make the cut to stay in the competition. If fewer than 7 groups advance, you will be eliminated from the leaderboard.

Scoring

Your score is calculated by summing the scores to par of your surviving picks. The lowest aggregate score wins. For participants who make it past the cut (7 or more players), only their best 7 players count towards their final score. Players who miss the cut contribute their final score to your total.

Winnings

The prize pool is distributed as follows:

  • 2nd Place: Gets their $20 entry fee back
  • 1st Place: Takes the remaining prize pool

The winner will be crowned the Slates Green Jacket Gauntlet Champion!

Example

Let's say you pick Player A from Group 1, Player B from Group 2, etc. After Round 2:

  • 8 of your groups have players who made the cut (you survive!)
  • Your surviving players' scores are: +1, -2, +3, -1, +2, -3, +1, -2
  • Since you have more than 7 players who made the cut, only your best 7 scores count
  • Your best 7 scores are: -3, -2, -2, -1, +1, +1, +2
  • Your aggregate score would be: -4
